In our ongoing search for EPIC content that we can provide for our clients, followers and fans with on a regular basis, we at Banter Media have to do a lot of research and reading, and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT.
This constant education about all things digital allows us to understand what is worthwhile content and what isn’t. We filter the good from the bad and deliver only premium information to you.
With that in mind, its not often that we come across an article that really “calls it like it is,” is profoundly important for all businesses and it’s extremely well written (to tell you the truth, we are kind of envious of this piece.) An article that is so well composed and packed with a jaw dropping concept to really get you thinking. Where does digital fit? An article that can’t be topped and just needs to be acknowledged as a great article. Period.
“We seem preoccupied with the question of where digital should sit in our company structures.”
“We seem preoccupied with the question of where digital should sit in our company structures. But that isn’t the question we should be asking.” says Paul Boag, from his blog post, Stop arguing about who owns digital. It doesn’t matter in the long run. Paul goes on to discuss “Companies should realize that digital is everywhere and digital will become ubiquitous and the digital teams cannot work in isolation. They need to be working collaboratively with every part of the organization.” I encourage you to read the rest of the article here, but it brings me to my point.
At Banter, we meet many businesses in every stage of their life cycle and one thing they all have in common (well, most of them) is their need for knowledge of what digital really is and how to truly leverage off of it. And I mean digital in broad terms here: Web, Social, Marketing, Software, Accounts, Sales, HR etc. This got us thinking – what do our clients really need?

After many countless strategy sessions, planning meetings, team power talks (you get my drift) Banter has formulated a new offering, a new solution for our clients. A “left of center” take on the digital realm as we know it. We will be launching this exciting idea to the public in July.
Naturally with a new direction, come some changes. We will not only be moving offices (more on that to come later) but also evolving over the next few weeks into a new, sexier and sleeker, “future-proof” Banter. A Banter that will guide our clients into the 4th Industrial Revolution. Welcome to the Exponential Age.
See you on the other side.
